Long Weekend Love

Hey Everyone!! I hope your weekend was as great as mine. I got some quality time with my family and the beach:) Here is my weekend told by Instagram....

We started the weekend off with one of my favorite nuggets... She is pretty much the cutest thing We watched her on Thursday night. Got a little bit of cash for the weekend. I am in love with this picture though...
Friday night Jon was on call so we didn't do much just watched our new favorite show Breaking bad and had some much needed cuddle time.

Saturday was a busy but amazing day. We started the day off right with some time at the beach.
Then headed to the bank to the get out some cash....
I may have been a little excited to hold that much cash...

Spent hours looking at CAR after CAR after CAR Untilllll....
We turned that cash into this little beauty>>>>

That right we now are proud owners of a that shinny 2005 Doge Neon. We spent Sunday enjoying our new car. After church we went on a Sunday drive.
Ruca really likes our new car .... so do we... Hubby Dearest just really hates the MILLION pictures I take... at least he is in this one the others he kept sneaking out of
Stoner Puppy...
After our drive we spent the night eating some BBQ with my Mom.
Hubby Jon got a little fancy with the hot dogs

Monday we hung out with some friends. They made us some homemade ice cream...
And we made some homemade fried rice....

We also topped the night of with a game of Skipbo... Which I won Just saying....
After the long weekend Ruca was just as tired as we were!

Weekend Review

We had a lazy kind of weekend here. Our days were filled mostly with naps, ice cream and the Olympics. On Friday we went to our good friends house for the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. If you ever want to feel really fat... Watch the top athletes in the world while scarfing down your own carton of Half Baked... It really was a fun night though despite each of us all eating our own carton of ice cream. I can tell you one thing though I am so grateful to live in this country after hearing about all the horrible thing going on around the world. I thought I was a little more informed about the worlds news but turns out there are at least 12 countries I had never heard of with terrible things happening in them.

We were going to venture out to the yard to work on our patio but turns out we have a sprinkler right smack dab in the middle of the area. So our patio plans will be slightly postponed until we can move the sprinkler. We did actually get out with some friends Saturday night for a fun triple date. In April my best friend from Kindergarten and First grade was hired at The Kids Place. It was such a great throwback! I feel like we picked off right where we left off ( literally cause we still act like we are in elementary school) it has been so great working with her every day and we finally got to venture out into the real world with our men for a little glow-in-the-dark putt putt.  For some reason Brittany was blurry in every picture we tried to take...  I think she was just so excited to be there :)
