Or this
Some times even this
BUT 4 nights ago I read this article and it hasn't left my mind. Every now and then I use Pinterest for good. It talks about how today Satan's war is in our brains. We I constantly need stimulation and it has become a habit to just pick up the phone and get online. So much so that it is craved and almost needed. Our favorite blogs, websites, social media take up so much space in our brains daily that more important things loose their place. it is MY job to make my brain crave more spiritual and deep thoughts. To make an effort to study Gods words and ponder their meaning in my life. If I do not take the time to do this now HOW will I find time to do it when I have children? I want my kids to know how important it is to live the gospel of Christ. Now don't get me wrong, the internet machine is a wonderful thing I love me so blog time and can't get enough of Pinterest but it is important to incorporate other forms of GOOD into my day. IN FACT.. I am making it a goal... I want to have the Book of Mormon read by December 31, 2012 ( putting on the blog holds my accountable right?) Alright I am done with all this seriousness adn I am linking up with this lady here and here.

I love this post. I think about this a lot. It is really hard to change habit. I guess just start small and it will gradually become more apart of your life. Thanks for posting, I needed to hear this.
This is so true. I actually have ADHD so sometimes I just feel nuts - like I have to constantly be doing something or I get very antsy. But when I do take time to relax and be peaceful I find that it's actually much easier than I expect. But it is tough to make that change!
And I love those pins. They are hilarious!
This is also something I think about a lot; in fact, it's something I seem to need to set goals with constantly (by goals, I mostly just mean boundaries and limits). Now that I'm a full-time teacher, I don't have as much time as I used to to get online and waste time, but I find that when I need relaxation, it's the first place I go to.
Isn't that sad?
Anyway, I'm glad you posted this--it gave me a little reminder to do something else today with my free time than just surf the Net.
Love the blog, by the way!

yep...I often sit down and tell myself, this is a good time to open my bible, but instead I get online. I definitely need more discipline in this arena!
Great reminder Sarah! It made me think about what I am spending my time doing!
